Multi-Dome shades are an economical way of shading a very large area. We’ve used our multi-dome style to shade bleachers, sport courts, parking lots, and more! Once a single dome becomes too large (at around 2,000 sq. ft.), it is typically cheaper to break up the canopy into several smaller canopies that share columns, or posts. For example, a 30′ x 40′ hip shade, which has four posts, would split into two 30′ x 20′ hip shades that share six posts. What’s more, this would also ensure better tension of your shade’s fabric.

This shade style is custom-made for your location and can either be square or rectangular in shape. One of the most economical and easiest ways to provide shade to a playground, park, or pool space is to incorporate our square Pyramid shade. This shade is different than our Square Hip shade in that the top of the fabric comes to a point instead of being flat. This square shade structure comes in widths between 10′ and 38′. Hyperbolic Sails are four-sided sail shades. The fabric connects at different heights on the columns giving the shade a twisted look. Our Modular Octagon Shade is great for shading large playgrounds. This shade works only for playgrounds that have 48″x48″ decks. The design, which is 14′ 4″ in size, utilizes four playground posts that are 5″ round. It is available for octagonal deck configurations with eight columns, and smaller square decks with four columns. Our modular shade line is a great option for adding sun protection to existing playgrounds without having to change the current design. This shade style only utilizes one playground post and is available in two sizes:  7′ 4″x5′ 3″ and 8′ 4″x6′ 3″.
